SONiC Workshop at OCP Global Summit

The SONiC Foundation would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming SONiC Workshop, a co-located event at the OCP global summit on October 17, 2023 from 1-5 pm. Come learn about the latest developments of SONiC from industry experts including innovations in NOS management, improvements in routing, software defined networking, and system design.

Register for the 2023 OCP Global Summit here! OCP Global Summit registration is required to attend SONiC Workshop, and all Summit passes include entry into the Workshop.

SONiC Annual Virtual Hackathon

In addition to our call for presentations, the SONiC Foundation is hosting our annual Hackathon prior to the SONiC Workshop. The Hackathon will be fully virtual. Please review the following guidelines and submit your interest to participate:

• Theme: Improve SONiC
• Format: Remote/Online

Timeline:

• September 15:
  • Team formation submission deadline (project abstract due at submission)
• October 11-13 (12:00pm PT):
  • Hackathon participation dates
• October 13 (1pm ~ 4pm PT):
  • Kickoff will be hosted live, and final presentations prior to winner selection is live (or via recording). All teams will be asked to present their idea, results, and next steps in a 5 minutes presentation.
• October 17:
  • Three winners will be selected and presentation recordings will be played to a broader audience during the SONiC Workshop, a co-located event at OCP Global Summit.
